Homeowners In Need Can Apply for Brush with Kindness Program
Newnan, GA (February 2, 2017) – Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, Inc. recently announced that it has raised $14,000 for its Brush with Kindness program. Catering to existing homeowners in Coweta County, the Brush with Kindness program focuses on beautification, critical repairs and weatherization of homes for individuals and families in need.
To qualify for the Brush with Kindness program, candidates must have a home in Coweta County that acts as the primary residence for the applicant(s); be in good standing with their mortgage lender; and have no liens or judgements on their home or property. Each applicant must contribute 25 hours of sweat equity and repay a portion of the construction costs based on their income.
If interested in this program, individuals must attend a mandatory orientation in order to learn about requirements and receive a program application. Orientations are scheduled for February 8, February 11, March 15, March 18, April 12 and April 15. Due to limited seating, pre-registration is required.
