Open House Showcases Local Affordable Housing Opportunities
Newnan, GA (February 22, 2017) – Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, Inc. has completed its latest renovation project: A four bedroom, two baths single family home located at 26 Potomac Trail in Newnan. Local citizens are welcome to attend an open house on Saturday, March 4 or Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm to walk through the home and learn more about Habitat’s first-time homebuyer program.
“There are many misconceptions as to what a Habitat home is and how an individual or family can qualify for our homeowner program. By hosting an open house, we provide individuals with an opportunity to see our finished product firsthand, to learn more about our homeownership program and the next steps needed to apply for a Habitat home,” said Cristina Bowerman, executive director. “We also like to provide our donors, volunteers and community partners with an opportunity to see their dollars at work.”
Applications are currently being accepted for NCHFH’s first time homebuyer program and Brush with Kindness repair program for existing homeowners in Coweta County. To learn more about program qualifications, visit www.nchfh.org, call (770) 252-9049, ext. 16 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
