Homeowner Orientations Promote Affordable Housing Opportunities in Coweta County

Newnan, GA (February 28, 2017) – Coweta County citizens in need of permanent affordable housing are encouraged to attend a homeowner orientation with Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, Inc. To be considered for permanent housing, candidates must meet qualifications that include: Residency in Coweta County for one year; be a first time home buyer; meet current HUD income requirements; possess steady and verifiable income for the past two years; have a willingness and ability to pay monthly debt obligations; verify a total debt to income ratio of 43 percent; and be in good standing with creditors.

Orientations require pre-registration due to limited seating. To pre-register, contact NCHFH at (770) 252-9049, ext. 16 or email programs@nchfh.org. Orientations are scheduled for March 8, March 11, April 5 and April 9.
